Our work at the OVE (Observatoire de la vie étudiante) consists of producing knowledge about the student world and providing decision-making tools. Many facets of student life are analysed in order to obtain a broad view of student living conditions.

We approach teaching issues from the point of view of students’ opinions. Our task is to reflect the expectations, aspirations and experiences of the student population.

We collaborate in programme evaluation work, interviewing students annually. Our annual longitudinal survey looks at how students perceive the teaching activities of their teachers/assistants.
